It isn't an easy task to manage a Charity, it takes a lot of hard work, love and dedication .So when I say that "I very much need your help to help the children" I mean every word.
I as Savannahs Father and the founder of the SSCF was sick over the past 18 months being in the hospital several times once finding out that I have Diabetes. I?m told with the proper care I?ll be ok in a year or so ( it slowed me down quite a bit ) keep me in your prayers. No big deal. Do you think it could have been all those delicious cakes and deserts I ate late at night ? Anyway, I was in the hospital also for a week because my silly heart started to fibulate... I'm going to say its the butterflies that I get when I think of my children Matthew & Savannah Eve and all their Special Need's Friends. I truly love them all.
So....I'm alive and well. I just have to follow a few extra rules to give me a long life. I better . After all, I have lots of work to do for my beautiful Savannah Eve, Matthew , and their Friends right? Please come join me on this journey called love.
I ,deep in my heart and soul believe that this Blind Children's Charity is a Gift from GOD. Savannah Eve was never given any hope of vision from all the Doctors that diagnosed her right from birth. But the day that I had what I call ", A Vision of Thought?...the thought being that Savannah would see as much as I believed and believing to me means LOVE ,I believed some thing special was going to happen and it did.Miracles in Life:
Well...one morning while the door of the house was open enough to let the morning light shine along the floor of the room where Savannah was sitting, she starting moving to the light ,reaching for it ,seemingly dancing with it. I didn't believe my eyes...after I stopped crying out of pure happiness for my little girl, I remembered the thought that I had months before. I also remembered the promise that I had made to GOD...that I would dedicate my life to helping Blind Children & Children with Special Need's & Their Families if my baby girl was given her sight.
My beautiful little girl Savannah Eve can at least see my face as I give her" Butterfly Kiss's" and about a 3 foot area around her, & she's an Excellent Student in mainstream school.
Do you believe enough to show your love to a child? Maybe, just maybe?.. your LOVE might help one of these children to see. Well that's my story.....I do realize now that there was another miracle that happened on that day other then savannahs' vision. I was given the meaning of purpose for my life, and for that I will forever be thankful to GOD every day of my life.

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Mark Chesney and I have established a foundation known as The Savannah Sights Charitable Foundation located at www.savannahsights.org.
The organization was established after I had undergone an epiphany that would provide me with the inspiration to establish this organization. The sole purpose of the foundation is to provide services to special needs children whose families have neither the financial, nor the emotional means to do so.
My own daughter Savannah Eve, born legally blind and recently diagnosed with Autism, is the inspiration for this foundation. My heart goes out to these special needs children and their families as we join together for the greater benefit of all children who have not been gifted with normal physical and emotional abilities.
I am seeking feedback from the Social Network Community to help me build this organization from the ground up and help as many special needs children as we can.
